Capture the Date Blog Hop!!

Thank you for stopping by to enjoy our November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop featuring this month's SOTM - Capture the Date S1211!

If you've just arrived here from
Pamela's blog then you are on the correct path.

While this stamp set is ideal for stamping the date on your scrapbook pages and other projects, I wanted to show you how easily it can be used to create a Christmas card as well! This standard-size card I created (above) features the Pear & Partridge papers X7162B with Black, Cashmere, and Olive inks. The Christmas Tree shape was cut from the Cricut AP cartridge at 3.5" and the Holly Leaves were cut at 1.5".
The Poinsettia Leaves were cut from the Cricut Artiste cartridge
at 1.25, 1.5, and 1.75".

I used a dry embossing stylus to impress lines and score folds on all of my leaves. Then I sanded them lightly with sandpaper and inked the Holly Leaves with a sponge-dauber and Olive ink on all the edges and creases as well. Finally, I layered them together with 3D foam mounting tape to add some dimension.

...here are all the images (below) that are included in this set:
You can purchase this stamp set from me now for $17.95 (full retail price)
or at the discounted price of just $5 with any order of $50 or more!!

October 20th and 27th Flirty Workshop!

First of all, I apologize that this post is so late and long over-due. We had a computer virus that caused me to lose a lot of the photos I had taken of our upcoming projects, and it really messed things up for me this month. The only upside to having that issue is that it forced us to finally get a new home computer that I now absolutely LOVE!!

Since I'm so late promoting it on my blog this month,
I'm offering you two different dates for you to join us
for this month's workshop featuring the "Flirty" kit!
A few of you who pre-ordered your kit recently (Jackie and Jessi) will have yours in time for our Workshop date this Saturday, October 20th (1pm to 5pm). If you haven't had a chance to pre-order yours yet though, there's still time and I can have yours ready for you to use on Saturday, October 27th (1pm to 5pm), so it's not too late to plan to join us if you can. I will also be offering a "Holiday Banner" workshop on that same Saturday, October 27th...so you can expect to see more photos and details about that posted here on my blog next.

The full "Flirty" kit is $35
pre-paid by Oct 20th
to create 2 layouts and 6 cards
(includes stamp set for you to keep).

The basic "Flirty" kit is $25
pre-paid by Oct 20th
to create 2 layouts and 6 cards
(includes use of my stamps).

The "Flirty" CARDS ONLY kit is
$5 for a set of 3 (or 2 of each, total of 6 for $10)
If you would like to make the "cards only"
I will have them pre-cut and ready for you to stamp, assemble, and embellish (please RSVP early, but you can pay for them the day you attend).

If you already have a kit from a previous workshop that you'd like to finish using, feel free to bring it and/or any other projects you'd like to work on with us! Remember to bring a potluck dish to share along with your completed projects from the last workshop to show off to us so I can give you extra tickets for our prize drawings!
