March SOTM Blog Hop!

Thank you for stopping by to enjoy our March Stamp of the Month Blog Hop featuring this month's SOTM - Potential S1203! If you've arrived here from
Mary's Blog then you are on the correct path.
The 6x6 card I've created this week is inspired by Originals - The Main Idea (p. 96). I've used paper from the Cruisin' paper pack Z7154B and a color combo that includes Black, Juniper, Twilight, and White Daisy. On the right side of the card I've done some "tone-on-tone" stamping using Juniper ink on Juniper cardstock to create my stamped background. I also sanded a few of my elements with sand-paper to reveal some of the white core of my cardstock to achieve that "shabby" look. While I absolutely LOVE the huge variety of different flower shapes I am able to cut with my CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge, I think that these flowers are my most favorite ones to use right now -
as I so love those heart-shaped petals!
There are so many lovely images included in this Stamp of the Month set! I think it would be fair to say that it definitely has lots of "potential"!! (pun intended) "wink" ;) and I look forward to creating more with this stamp set, as I already know it will be one of those sets I will find myself using over and over again!
Now you can continue on with our Blog Hop to be inspired by more creativity with this stamp set by visiting Traci's Blog next! Enjoy!!

February 24 and 25 Scrapbooking Classes!!

Let me help you make more progress completing more of your scrapbooking this year...one page...and one layout at a time! We will meet monthly at 6:30pm and 7:30pm on either the 3rd, 4th, or 5th weekend of each month. Join us on Friday night or Saturday night or even both nights if you want/need extra time to create with us!
At 6:30pm we will create one 12x12 layout with traditional materials (paper, stamps, and embellishments!) for $10 per layout. This month we will be using the NEW Stella papers and each class kit will include a full assortment of
Stella Canvas Complements (a $6.95 value)!
Then, at 7:30pm we will create another layout (faster, simpler, and easier!) with Studio J online at no additional charge! Yes, you read that correctly, the Studio J class is FREE! You can join us for both segments of class time, or just come for either the first or second hour, whichever interests you most!

All you will need to bring is your adhesive, photos, and favorite basic tools you like to use. Please PLAN AHEAD NOW by getting your prints/finding the photos you will want to bring to use! Notice that there's room for lots of photos on these pages (9 total)! I will have kit supplies available for just 12 students, so please RSVP ASAP to guarantee your spot now before it fills up!!

Here's a view of the Canvas Complements stickers (above) that you will have left-over to create more with after making this layout with me!! If you love these papers as much as I do, then you should consider also purchasing the Stella Workshops-on-the-Go Kit shown on page 19 of the Idea Book to help you create two more beautiful scrapbook layouts and more! (click here for links to see what the additional layouts/projects look like).

Next, here is the Studio J layout I've chosen for us to create together this month:

You get to choose how many of each card you make!

At our last class we also discussed adding a "Christmas Card" option for those who might want to make more than just 3 cards with me each month. Those who wish to create the extra 3 Christmas Cards every month will then have a good selection of cards made and ready to use by the end of the year. I am still working on designing this month's Christmas Card, but will get it posted here as soon as I can!
