The Stickles Solar Flare Glitter Gel really pops and makes them that much more special! *With All My Love* Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

THANK YOU for stopping by to enjoy our
October Stamp of the Month Blog Hop
featuring this month's SOTM:
With All My Love S2010

If you've just arrived here from
then you are on the correct path.

Today I'm sharing the standard-size anniversary card
I made for my husband. I'm a tad early, lol. Jose and I will
be celebrating 26 years of married life on December 17th!
When I saw this stamp set, I immediately knew that it
would be perfect for making our anniversary card this year.
Back in 1994, we chose Red and Black for our wedding
colors, so I also chose to use (similar colors)...
using the NEW Comfort and Joy paper packet (X7261S)
with our NEW Wood Grain papers (X8017)
that I absolutely LOVE so so much!!

I also wanted to show you that you really can use
this Christmas-themed paper collection in a
NON-Christmas-y way!!

My stamping was done with Archival Black ink, and the
coloring done with (NEW Deep Blends) Yellow Green and
Vintage Blue TriBlend markers from Spectrum Noir.
I also used a clear Versamark ink pad with white embossing
powder to heat emboss "Happy Anniversary" on Scarlet
cardstock. Can you see how I also used fussy cutting and
paper-piecing technique to make my largest flowers
"pop" using the Scarlet red patterned paper? Finally,
I embellished with (also a NEW favorite!) White
Flower Sequins (Z3872) with small Black Dots
used for their centers (Z3314).

Thank you Creative Friends!

Sending a huge SHOUT OUT and THANK YOU to all of the creative friends who sent me such beautiful handmade birthday cards recently!! I really do know some of the most talented people. ❤️ Cards shown here were made by Daisy Rivera (top Left), Linda Howe (top Right), Joanie Stanclift (bottom Left), Nicole Frazier (Center), Miyuki Noon-Farley (bottom Center), and Starr Nelson (bottom Right). Funny story about Starr’s card...My husband found it in my stash of swap cards I’ve been keeping. Starr made that card probably five or more years ago, lol, but Jose decided to use it! He wrote the sweetest message inside and then wrote, “P.S.-Thanks to Starr Nelson for making this card for me to use.” 😂 Resourcefulness is definitely one of his strengths! Thanks again everyone for thinking of me and making me feel special. You’ve motivated me even more to keep on paying it forward and mail out more cards more often.

My Bloom with Grace Birthday Pages!

This is a big FIRST for me. I have just finished scrapbooking photos that were taken less than a week ago! Say, what?!! 😮 If you know me, then you know that I am never this organized and on top of things so quickly, lol. BUT my daughter Isabelle made the most beautiful birthday cake for me featuring sunflowers and I just couldn’t wait to use these pics with the new BLOOM WITH GRACE workshop kit! 🌻 The first two pages shown here were inspired by project #2 of the kit (with a few adjustments made to fit my larger photo sizes). The third page is one I designed using scraps leftover from the kit, plus one 12x12 sheet of French vanilla cardstock added for the base. I LOVE this kit so much that I can’t wait to create more with it. To be continued...

Cutting into Bloom with Grace!

Enjoying some quiet “me time” in my craft room this afternoon. Just finished cutting and sorting all the papers I’ll be using to create the featured scrapbooking workshop kit for September...BLOOM WITH GRACE!🌻 This color combination is just so stunning and perfect for Fall, feminine, family, outdoor, or anytime-themed photos. Can you spot the NEW color Desert Rose?! Follow me on IG and FB to see my completed pages...coming soon! Local customers, I still offer the extra service (option) of pre-cutting and sorting your paper for you at no additional cost, which saves you valuable time, simply because I love what I do and I appreciate you so much! ❤️ #ctmhscrapbooking #ctmhbloomwithgrace #letmeshowyouhow #stampwithjencreativefriends

*Happiest Place* Blog Hop!

Welcome to our BLOG HOP!
Today, my creative Close to my
Heart consultant friends and I
are sharing what we've created
using the HAPPIEST PLACE
collection that includes beautiful
patterned papers (12 designs!),
silver foil patterned cardstock,
a sticker sheet, a stamp set,
cricut cuts, and black
acrylic shapes!

If you just arrived here from
then you are on the right track.

Today I'm sharing a card I made that features
an old card-making trend, that I've started to notice
is making a comeback... the 8" x 3.5" card size!
(also known as a "slimline" card).
One of the things I love about making cards this
size is that they can so easily be mailed in a
business-sized envelope, which adds an extra
element of surprise for the recipient of this
kind of "happy mail."

In addition to the Happiest Place Stamp set and Thin Cuts
(CC7206) that I used to stamp the balloon and hearts inside
the balloon, I also used the Magical Alphabet (D1937) and
Little Buddies (C1856) stamp sets, as well.
Ink colors I used are Archival Black and Lagoon.
Cardstock colors include a little bit of Black, Canary, Candy
Apple, and Mink, alongside a striped print and a strip of
holographic-star printed cardstock (Canary) from the
Happiest Place paper collection.

Today I'm sharing this standard-size card I made using
the NEW-for-July/August Mix-in Paper Packet (X9017)
that includes our colors Glacier, Peach, Smoothie, and Toffee.
All of my stamping was done with an archival Black ink pad,
then I colored the flowers with Coral, Dull Green,
Earth Brown, Fair Skin, and Ice Blue TriBlend markers.
The paper-piecing technique was used to
create the patterned paper skirt.

*Brushed* Blog Hop!

Welcome to our BLOG HOP!
Today, my creative Close to my Heart
 consultant friends and I
are sharing what we've created
using the "Bring Back my Pack"
BRUSHED special paper
collection and stamp sets!

If you just arrived here from
then you are on the right track.

I absolutely LOVE the beautifully vibrant color
combination options afforded by this updated paper collection!
To make these five standard-sized cards,
I used Archival Black, Canary, Green Apple, Lagoon,
Pixie, and Smoothie ink pads. If you look closely, you might
notice that I included a little bit of (black) heat embossing
on the "Dream Big" card. I also "stamped on vellum"
the large black butterfly on the "Life is Beautiful" card.
I used the instruction sheet from the Aurora Cardmaking
Workshop Kit (G1205) as my design inspiration for four of
the cards (as you can see from the images shown below).
I really love that our workshop kit instructions can be
utilized so easily with other papers and stamp sets. I love the creative process of tweaking the designs a little, so they can work with other materials, as I have demonstrated below.

The 5th and final card design (shown above) was
inspired
by a square-shaped card I found on Pinterest that was
designed by Jody Gustafson back in August of 2014.
Thank you Jody for the creative inspiration!
