*Family Time* Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

THANK YOU for stopping by to enjoy our
November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop
featuring this month's SOTM:
Family Time S1911

If you've just arrived here from
then you are on the correct path.

Today I'm sharing two standard-size cards I created
using the SOTM and patterned papers from
THREE different new paper collections...
Cedar and Pine, Holly Jolly, and the Mix-in's,
patterned papers that can be seen HERE!

So you thought this was a Fall/Thanksgiving

themed stamp set? Challenge accepted!!

My featured technique today is:
Ink Streaking
Simply swipe or slide your stamp side-ways
on the surface of your ink pad, to achieve the
streaked lines across your image when stamped.
To create the poinsettia, I also rolled the outside
edges of the petals on my Candy Apple ink pad
after swiping the stamp across the pad the first time.
Ink colors I used here include:
Intense Black, Candy Apple, Evergreen, and Toffee.
I also used the Cedar & Pine - Cardmaking
(Nutcracker) stamp set (Z3535) to stamp the word
"Christmas" and to stamp/thin cut the holly leaves
I also added to the Christmas Blessings card.

I am the last blogger participating in this blog hop.

*Random Acts of Cardness* Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

THANK YOU for stopping by to enjoy our
September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop
featuring this month's SOTM:
Random Acts of Cardness S1909

If you've just arrived here from
then you are on the correct path.

Today I'm sharing two standard-size cards I created
using the SOTM and paper from the brand-new
EVERY LITTLE THING collection (See it here!)

Notice that I used some parts/pieces from

the Picture My Life card pack (x7248E), as well as,
patterns from the regular paper packet.
I've also used the vellum die-cuts (z3521)
and colored them with a Mint Shimmer Brush (z4225),
although I'm sure that any color, especially the NEW
Julep (color of the year!) Shimmer Brush would
work beautifully as well! If you've never tried
making "splatters" by flicking your shimmer brush
at your artwork, then you really should TRY IT!
It's so much fun and very addictive!
I pretty much want to splatter on everything lately! lol.

*From Me to You* Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

THANK YOU for stopping by to enjoy our
August Stamp of the Month Blog Hop
featuring this month's SOTM:
From Me to You S1908

If you've just arrived here from
then you are on the correct path.

Today I'm sharing two standard-size cards I created
using the SOTM and paper from the CRAFT ON collection
(X7245B). The card on the right was inspired by UCLA's
school colors (blue & gold), as I will be giving it to my
daughter Isabelle, who will be attending UCLA this Fall.
Isabelle also has a birthday this month, so I hope she
doesn't mind getting the cute card on the left also, lol.

This stamp set includes such a great variety of
so many different frequently used sentiments,
that it was hard to choose just a few for these projects.
I hope you are inspired to give this stamp set a try!
