H2H challenge #2 - my 1/2/3 challenge card (featuring NEW Summer products)!

Here is the 3x4.75" card I created for the Heart 2 Heart challenge #2. The requirements for this challenge were to:
1). use ONE stamped image (not one set, but just one image)
2). use TWO different patterned papers, and
3). use THREE embellishments
My card design was inspired by Originals - Right Spotlight (p. 29). I used a single stamp from the upcoming May SOTM set - Cherish the Moment D1421. I also used two B&T papers from a NEW for Summer My Reflections paper packet called Zippidee X7125B. The color combination includes Bamboo, Black, Colonial White, Cranberry, Dutch Blue, and Honey. The three embellishments I used include a cranberry brad, dimensional elements (solo "C" and a heart), and the flourishy design is a black rub-on from our Love Letters pack Z1098. Using just one stamped image sure felt like a big "challenge" to me as I am a lot more comfortable using a variety of at least a few stamped images on a project. I had to really stretch to make myself stick to the tricky guidelines so I hope you like and enjoy my little card and the final result!

A card for the Heart 2 Heart Challenge #1

There's a NEW challenge blog for those of us who love using mostly Close to my Heart (like me) - and it's called "Heart 2 Heart" challenges! I hope you will click on the new button I've posted on the side that links to this blog and check it out some time! I'd love to have you join me in the challenges even if you can!! This new challenge blog was started by some very talented fellow CTMH consultants and I'm happy to be playing along with them for the very first challenge which is to use this lovely color combination - sweet leaf, sunflower, and chocolate. So here is my standard size card above - I also added a little bit of desert sand and black ink as well - I hope you enjoy it! (P.S. - the inside of the card reads "We Owl do!")

More Flower Pot (April SOTM) artwork!!

Here is a bunch of beautiful artwork created by participants in the consultant Stamp of the Month artwork swap that I host every month. We used the Veranda papers (X7119B) with the April Stamp of the Month - Flower Pot (D1409). My swap items for this swap are not posted here as part of this posting because I already posted them yesterday (for the SOTM blog hop that I also participate in each month, so scroll down to the next post if you'd like to see how I used this stamp set and check out links for the blog hop also). EXCELLENT WORK ladies - it is a pleasure swapping with all of you!! Now I'm really looking forward to the next round of this swap using all-new SOTM's and papers from the NEW Summer Idea Book (the new Summer products will be available for customers to order starting on May 1st)!
