Thank you for stopping by to enjoy
our November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop featuring this month's SOTM - Capture the Date S1211!
If you've just arrived here from
Pamela's blog then you are on the correct path.
While this stamp set is ideal for stamping the date on your scrapbook pages and other projects, I wanted to show you how easily it can be used to create a Christmas card as well! This standard-size card I created (above) features the Pear & Partridge papers X7162B with Black, Cashmere, and Olive inks. The Christmas Tree shape was cut from the Cricut AP cartridge at 3.5" and the Holly Leaves were cut at 1.5".
The Poinsettia Leaves were cut from the Cricut Artiste cartridge
at 1.25, 1.5, and 1.75".
I used a dry embossing stylus to impress
lines and score folds on all of my leaves. Then I sanded them lightly with sandpaper and inked the Holly Leaves with a sponge-dauber and Olive ink on all the edges and creases as well. Finally, I layered them together with 3D foam mounting tape to add
some dimension.
...here are all the images (below) that are included in this set:
