Wonderful Pages (Made By My Customers!!)

I have some of the most amazing and creative customers!

They have quickly become good friends of mine too.

Every month I have the joy of watching them make beautiful scrapbook pages that save their family memories and tell their oh-so-important stories. Nothing thrills me more than seeing their layouts complete with photos and journaling!!

This month I asked a few of them if I could take photos of some of their completed pages, so I could share them on my blog and show the world the fantastic job they are doing. Some of these layouts were made using the "Some Kinda Wonderful" Workshops Your Way kit, which was the featured kit my scrapbooking club members used this month.

Next month, I plan to share a few more photos of a few more of my customer's completed pages. I just thought it would be fun to share these on my blog so others can see and celebrate the great job they've done too. Their scrapbooking success makes me so happy! Kudos to Desiree, Kelly, and Marla!!

*Due to an unexpected family obligation that came up, I needed to move this event from it's originally scheduled date (May 6th) to the 13th! So sorry for any inconvenience this might cause! I hope you can still plan to join us!!

Event Cost: is FREE!
Just bring a potluck side dish/dessert to share!
I will be making crock-pot chicken fajitas (with tortillas)
and providing a variety of ice-cold beverages.

Bring ANY scrapbooking kits/materials you'd like to use,
or choose from a variety of my left-over pre-cut class kits 
(most kits are priced at $30 for 6 to 8-12x12 pages
or $20 for 4-12x12 pages).

On this day I'm also offering TWO very 
special designed-by-me LAYOUT CLASSES 
that are perfect for Beginner's!! 
(so invite all the newbies you know!!)
starting at 11am and 1pm and 3pm!

Class participants will take about an hour (or less) to review the basics of scrapbooking
with me as we create TWO different 12x12 layouts (a pretty feminine page at 11am, and a versatile masculine page at 1pm, plus a late-comers class at 3pm). Each class layout kit is $10 each and you have the option to join us to make just one of the layouts or both layouts (it's your choice!)

The $10 per layout materials fee can be paid ahead of time or at the class, whatever works better for you, I just need your RSVP and commitment for each layout you plan to create
NO LATER THAN May 6th!!

Photos of the layouts are coming soon!!
(but for now, you can see the special paper pack we'll use to create at least one of the layouts...shown here below!)

**Due to limited space, I'm going do something I rarely do, and exclude those who are "card-makers only" from this event. I need to do this to allow enough room in my house for all that I have planned and to be able to really put my time and focus on teaching scrapbooking on this day. I promise those who are card-makers only, that we will still have our regularly scheduled card-making class during the month of May and that we will also have a special event for card-makers only to celebrate and focus on their specialty (creating beautiful cards!), during September 2017, which is also National Stamping Month.**

I'm going back to offering one official evening CARD CLASS date each month where our focus will really be on cards and stamping techniques only (for the non-scrapbookers and scrapbookers alike) and I will have all-NEW card designs ready for you each month on this specific card class date. You can still come and create cards with me anytime throughout the month on any of the "create dates" I offer, but I'll introduce the NEWest card designs and techniques just once a month on the official card class date! I'm not yet quite ready to show you the cards we'll be making in April, but I am happy to show you that I'm using these adorable cards as my design inspiration:

For today's blog hop, I've created these two standard-size cards (above)! The colors I used include Cranberry and Pacifica cardstock along with a few scraps of the Uptown Fundamentals paper (Z3263). I also used the Black memento ink pad, Cranberry ink (2nd generation for the hearts), and Glacier and Pacifica ink pads. The marker colors I used include Cherry Pink, Marine Blue, Pastel Peach, and Turquoise Blue.

One exciting discovery I made while creating with this stamp set was that the smallest die included in the Thin Cuts - Basic Circles set (Z3318) is the perfect size to cut paper to stamp the "Love this" stamp on. I also used the smallest two heart dies from the Thin Cuts - Basic Hearts set (Z3317) to cut out the black hearts on my cards (above) as well.
