The Scrapbooking Kit for April is... Gimme Some Sugar!

Happy April! I'm really excited to show you 
the fresh new scrapbooking pages and 
cards we're making this month using the
"Gimme Some Sugar" paper collection!
(what's even better is that my layout samples
are complete with my photos on them this time...
yeaay me!!)

Let's take a look at this month's pages!

If you compare my layouts to the originals designed by CTMH, you might notice some differences. This is because I frequently like to "change up" the pages to include more space for larger (mostly 4x6) photos. Our workshop kits are more versatile than you might think, and I can show you how to make them work for you, even if the photos you have to use on them are not the exact sizes and orientations shown. You are welcome to create your pages exactly like my samples above, or you can use your own creativity to
change them up however you want to!

have earned a $4 credit to spend with me however
you'd like. In addition to this extra motivation to actually 
finish your layouts, I also reward you for your
consistent purchases! When you buy any 6 of our
scrapbooking workshop kits, then your 7th kit is FREE!
*There are additional shipping costs for customers who
order online, and online customers will need to cut
their own paper (all kits include a detailed cutting guide
to make it easy!), but I do still reward my online 
customers with the "done dollars" incentive
and the "7th kit is free" perk also!

I'm sharing a photo of each layout designed by CTMH first,
followed by a photo of MY pages because I frequently like
to "change up" the pages to include more space for larger
(mostly 4x6) photos, just because that's my preference. All of
our workshop pages are more versatile than you might think,
and I can show you how to make them work for you, even if
the photos you have to use on them are not the exact sizes
and orientations. Also, if you don't "love" the mermaid
patterned paper shown here on layout #2, we can simply flip
it over and use the floral pattern on the other side, because all
of our papers are two-sided, giving you more creative options
to love! You can create your pages exactly as shown here
below, or feel welcome to use your own creativity
to change them up however you want!

Layout #4 (below) is one that I designed

using "Make It From Your Heart, Volume III"

as my inspiration (pattern #1 on page 6).

Each scrapbooking kit does need to be pre-ordered at least
one week in advance, so please RSVP no later than 1/13
if you plan to join us for this month's workshop and potluck
"CREATE DATE" on Saturday 1/20 (10am-4pm). If that date
doesn't work for you, I am also hosting "create dates" in my
home every Monday morning (9am-1pm) and you also have
the option to pick up your kit to use at home whenever it is
convenient for you (or to use at my house another month).

Now, let's talk about Card-making!!
This month's card-making "create date" will be Friday 
1/19 (6pm-9pm) and/or you can also plan to join us for the
Saturday workshop and potluck "create date," on Saturday
1/20 (10am-4pm) and/or any Monday morning
this month (9am-1pm), as well.

All cards are $2 each (bring and use your own adhesives).
You get to choose how many of each you want to make
from my "card buffet," whether it be just a few or a lot.
Customers who have purchased the monthly scrapbooking

qualify for the discounted "club member" price 
of any 4 cards for $5!*

I just finished up layouts #3 and #4 this past week, which means that I met my goal of a layout every week this month already and the month's barely even half over (yeaay for me)!! I know that this looks like just one scrapbook layout (and it is), BUT I also created a duplicate copy of this layout this week because I am giving one of them to my downline consultant team member Starr Nelson (who is the "Rising Starr") featured on my pages! Three years ago Starr received the very prestigious annual "Rising Star" award at our corporate-sponsored Leadership Conference and I was so thrilled to be able to be there to celebrate it with her and Close to my Heart. What an amazing event it was and I am so grateful for the photos and memories I have from that week. I promised Starr then that I would make her a layout of her big achievement, and even though it took me quite a while (blush), I finally have it done and ready to give to her (if you are reading this Starr, then "Surprise!!" It's about time right?! lol. I will give you your layout next week at our upcoming team meeting or get it mailed to you if you aren't able to attend!!) This layout was created using the new Sweetheart Workshop-on-the-Go kit that is featured on page 41 of the NEW Spring/Summer Idea Book!
