THANK YOU for stopping by to enjoy our
November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop
featuring this month's SOTM:
Family Time S1911
If you've just arrived here from
then you are on the correct path.
Today I'm sharing two standard-size cards I created
using the SOTM and patterned papers from
THREE different new paper collections...
Cedar and Pine, Holly Jolly, and the Mix-in's,
patterned papers that can be seen HERE!
So you thought this was a Fall/Thanksgiving
themed stamp set? Challenge accepted!!
My featured technique today is:
Ink Streaking
Simply swipe or slide your stamp side-ways
on the surface of your ink pad, to achieve the
streaked lines across your image when stamped.
To create the poinsettia, I also rolled the outside
edges of the petals on my Candy Apple ink pad
after swiping the stamp across the pad the first time.
Ink colors I used here include:
Intense Black, Candy Apple, Evergreen, and Toffee.
I also used the Cedar & Pine - Cardmaking
(Nutcracker) stamp set (Z3535) to stamp the word
"Christmas" and to stamp/thin cut the holly leaves
I also added to the Christmas Blessings card.
I am the last blogger participating in this blog hop.

I love that heart tree! Thinking out of the box always results in my favourite cards and these are AWESOME,
Very Creative! The Christmas Blessing card is my favorite but I love them both!
These cards have a country feel to them. I always try to avoid the swiping lines but I love that you have incorporated them in your design. So pretty!
Beautiful cards Jen! I love the folk art feel I get from them. I too am very fond of the Christmas Blessings version.
I love how you did the Christmas tree with the hearts, what a fabulous idea!
